If you have already disabled the notifications in your phone settings > notifications, then this is how to turn off via your Facebook app.

  1. Go to your facebook app and to the newsfeed area.
  2. At the bottom right, click the “more” link
  3. Scroll down and click on Settings.
  4. Click notifications
  5. Click birthdays, then uncheck to turn off.

That is all and good luck.

I totally agree with the above premise that FB birthday notifications are over the top – to get a BD notification for every single friend is a bit much! But, I’m very happy to keep most notifications coming. For instance, I have a casino account on my iPhone which I use to relax, chill, and in general pass the time when I’m waiting at the doctor’s office, with the kids at the park, or just needing a 5 minute break at work. I go to http://www.allslotscasino-no-deposit-bonus.com/ on my phone or table to play a slot or two, blackjack, roulette, whatever I’m in the mood for. And….speaking of notifications, they send me notifications when there’s a new game, or a cool promotion going on at the casino, or they want to give me free bonus money to play with – whatever. Now these are notifications I like to get. So my FB, BD notifications may be off, but my other notifications are more than welcome!
